Yahoo Messenger Now Allows For Cross-Platform Video Chats On The iPad 2

The new Yahoo Messenger now supports cross-platform video chatting and regular text chats on the iPad 2 to any other device, including the iPhone.

The app is free and available now.

Flav's Fried Chicken, Former Owner Sued

Flavor Flav's defunct fried chicken restaurant in Clinton, Iowa, has hit with a lawsuit by a food distribution company that claims they were shorted payment for food.

Iowa-based Hawkeye Foodservice Distribution filed the lawsuit in Johnson County Court, claiming Flav's Fried Chicken and it's co-owner, Nick Cimino, still owe $12,000 for past food shipments.

AT&T shows off 28.8Mbps download speeds

The folks over at GigaOM managed to get a tour of AT&T’s Foundry space yesterday and seeing how it was the testing ground for AT&T’s LTE network, they asked for a demonstration. AT&T gladly complied and GigaOM are happy to report that the results were impressive. At the lab where the network was tested, they got download speeds of 28.87Mbps and upload speeds of 10.4Mbps. That’s over 7 times faster than the 3.77Mbps that AT&T’s current HSPA network provides.

Teen mom in Texas, Caught smothering baby with hand and blanket

A Texas teen mom could face life behind bars after she was caught on camera trying to smother her baby with a blanket and her hands.

She told authorities that she couldn't handle the stress of being a single, unemployed mom and wanted the 4-month-old "out of my life."
